Step 1 of 3: choose

Choose the slab, not a sample chip.

A sample fits in your hand. A slab is about ten feet of stone, and no two are the same. At our yard you walk past full-size slabs with someone from our team, choose the one you want, and leave with an estimate.

Bring your cabinet plan or a few photos of the room. If you’re stuck between three greys, that’s normal. We’ll stand in front of them with you.

Step 2 of 3: template and cut

Put the template where the stone looks best.

Once your cabinets are in, we measure them and make a template. Then someone decides where that template sits on the slab: which vein runs down the island, which corner stays quiet. Try it yourself.

Every piece we install is fabricated by our own staff on Byland Road: the sink cutouts, the seams, the edges and the final polish.
